Midwest Singles Retreat • May 31 - June 1, 2013
Year two was another wonderful event! The Lord brought over 50 of us together to enjoy friendship, worship, and personal growth. Brian Trainer was back with us, and his four sessions (three in the book of Ruth) can be summarized with one principle: "to live a fruitful life, you must die a selfless death" (John 12:24).

2013 Speaker: Brian Trainer
Brian recently served as the Chair of the Bible Department at Maranatha Baptist Bible College and as the Associate Pastor at Lakewood Baptist Church in Delafield, WI. Now, Brian serves as the Dean of Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary. Brian loves God's Word and has effectively taught it for over 15 years as a church planter, pastor, conference speaker, college professor, and Global Encounters missions director. Throughout the past 5 years, Brian has led multiple mission trips and has traveled or taught in more than 30 countries. |
